He’s like a Pugliot and a Shonkliot (Sage’s nicknames for him). Otherwise know as Hank. And one of Sage’s best friends. He’s a part of the family, a very hairy part of the family. He loves camping, here’s a shot of him in the trailer:
Wow it’s been a busy year, especially with work. I’m actually on vacation as I post this but you would never know. I was called in to work last night in an “emergency”. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person who answers the phone when work shows up in the call display. Oh well, atleast it helps us build our little family home. There’s nothing like doing your regular job for double the pay.
Don’t get me wrong I enjoy what I do, and not many people can say that for their respective careers.
Still missing my family though, but making plans for some serious family time this winter. Lot’s of Skiing and snowboarding, even Sage has her Season Pass this year for Mt. Seymour. It’s going to be great year for snow with La Nina and all. I hope it snows 10 feet downtown. Sage has the cutest winter gear this year, can’t wait to use it (hard to get a good pic though as she was not in the mood for posing):
Kids gear is so much more technically advanced now, her Roxy gear even has built in powder skirts. How cool is that?
Done for today, time for some sushi and a Canucks game.

The things that come out of this little kids mouth. I never realized that kids are truly like sponges. We always used to ask Sage when she awoke from a nap if she was happy, now she asks us “are you happy today?” We always get her to repeat things like “say armadillo” now she tells me to “say amadammo”. She’s a little comedian and doesn’t even realize it.
I know it’s been a long time since the last entry, but between work and life there isn’t much time left for computer. Here’s a pic of the dynamic duo from Mama’s restaurant in San Francisco this year on our annual Cali/Oregon road trip:
It’s getting harder and harder to get a good pic of her, most of the time the “scrunchy” face comes out:
She definitely takes after her parents sleeping pattern and thankfully so, I’ve been working way too many nightshifts.
I can’t believe she’s almost 3. Where does the time go?
Short post for today, have to go to work.
