The day has come and gone, turns out this little kid is going to be just like her mom – always late. But that doesn’t make me love her any less, some people just need more time. And if she needs a little more time to come out perfect that’s fine by me. Rest assured I’ll be here and waiting, you would think I would be used to it by now, maybe I just signed up for another 20 odd years of this.
I guess patience is a virtue.
T-minus 2 days until I am (un)officially scheduled to become a new father/dad/caretaker/old man/whatever, what’s in a title anyways? And now it seems like the clock couldn’t go any slower, I just want her (Sage being the chosen name of the moment) to make her long awaited appearance on this planet called earth so I can start this grand journey.
I’ll keep this first post short, as I can’t think of anything profound to write at the moment, but I am sure the words will come when I first see her small smiling little face.
The waiting game continues…… Hopefully for not much longer.
